I require an experienced writer to proof read, check and re-write/re-structure the preface of a self-help book I am writing. Ideally I would like somebody with skills in this particular area to have a look although this isn't mandatory.
The document to check is 4 pages long and about 1600 words.
Should the freelancer do a good job I have a lot of very well paid work lined up over the next year for them.
Notes:
I require all freelancers to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Any attempt to copy the work to be reviewed will result in lawsuit.
The above synopsis is only brief. Should any writer be interested they are to contact me asap to discuss the job in more detail.
As stated this is essentially a trial run. Should I think you have done a good job much more work will follow.
Should the book be published all rights are to be transferred to myself. You will be paid for your work upfront and in full via the freelancer online payment service prior to the work being completed at a set completion date. This is to be agreed with myself and the writer.
It essentially touches on my travels of three years meeting people all over the globe who introduced me to life hacks which I reckon will really benefit students who have just graduate and are clueless on what they want to do.
You may re-arrange it and re-structure it as you please although I'd like to keep the same flavour of text. You may also add any content you think will captivate a student to read the book-remember this will be marketed to recent graduates who are completely clueless what they want to do and have got a little bit disheartened by it all. The preface can be as long as you need it to be, there is no word limit. Remember to also fully relate it to student struggles and how they see life. Most importantly, make it very funny, as funny as you can.
I have every faith you will do an excellent job. Like I have said, more work will follow if you can complete the task to a high standard.
