I need a custom AutoCAD LISP program.
I have to continuously edit several dozen AutoCAD blocks that come to me in any one given file; all of these blocks have everything on one layer and in one color. Some of the entities in the blocks are lines of the same length from block to block.
I could REALLY REALLY use a way to select lines of similar length across multiple blocks so that they can ALL be changed to a certain layer, color, etc. I have found several ways of doing this...but only for objects outside of blocks.
An even more useful subset would be to filter the lines further by their orientation....vertical or horizontal as they appear within the initial block definition
