Develop Windows code to continuously capture screen shots, encode as h.264 (MPEG), send in Flash RTMP protocol to Wowza for distribution as live video stream.
- The capture part should probably be done using CamStudio - an open source project.
- The streaming should probably be done using VLC - and open source project.
- The capture might best be done by writing a DLL plugin that splits the stream from the current application rather than actually capture the screen to save on system resources.

My users want to stream video of themselves while playing fullscreen DirectX games such as World of Warcraft. I'm not sure this makes a difference in the way the screen is captured. I don't think it does. I've read somewhere the procaster captures the screen via DirectX.
This is mainly for Windows users.
A solution for Mac OSX and other platforms would be nice.
