We have some code that was originally supplied by a hardware ventor of ours to record phonecalls. We made our own modifications a few years ago to provide some extra functions. This worked fine, but we now have to use newer linux kernels. They updated their driver software to support the newer kernels, but now our modified application will no longer compile. I suspect this is due to modifications made to their driver.
They have supplied a newer version of the original application that was modified, which compiles fine. So we need to either make the necessary changes to our application to make it compile, or backport the changes we made to the applicaiton to their new version instead.
Software and hardware is provided by www.voicetronix.com.au. Their downloads page has the current versions that compile fine (vpb driver v3.0 and Logger v1.1).
This is a very urgent project that needs to be completed this week as we have a very very tight deadline on this. As such the project will not be open for bidding for long, and you will need to be able to start work straight away.
I don't think this will be all that complicated, I'm sure I was close to fixing it myself but I had to give up and realise I'm not a programmer!
PM me for a copy of the non compiling code and more detail in what functions we added.
