1. Open the folder “a-04-start” located in the “day-08” folder 2. Open up the “[login to view URL]” file 3. Create CSS styles inside the attached stylesheet to make the page look as close as possible to the screenshot located on the last page or open the “[login to view URL]” file located in the “day-08” folder 4. When the above steps are complete do the following: a. Upload the completed file(s) to your personal COMP1850 web space via FTP i. Remember individual assignments and projects should be stored in individual folders. For example, for “Assignment 04” I might make a folder called “a04”. I would then upload that folder to my web space b. Browse to your completed assignment by navigating to your completed assignment in a web browser i. The address should be similar to: 1. [login to view URL] 2. replace “mwhyte13” with the first part of your [login to view URL] email address c. Once you have tested your assignment in a browser, make note of the URL and copy it. d. Go to D2L and find the dropbox for Assignment 05. i. Create a text file or a Word document or a PDF that contains a link to your completed assignment ii. Upload the text file completed in the above step to the dropbox iii. In the Comments section include a link to your assignment Hints: - The HTML is complete, all that is needed is to style the page by creating CSS rules - Bootstrap Reboot CSS is already attached to the HTML file - The header should be positioned fixed, and it should have a height of 70px - The “.inner-header” and “main” element have a width of 850px - The hero slider will be the most challenging, here are some tips: o All the UI elements (prev btn, next btn, image thumbnails) are positioned absolute relative to the hero-slider element o The image thumbnails are generated dynamically by JavaScript. To select them with CSS try this selector: “.hero-slider-th-container a img” o The JavaScript for the hero slider is already attached and completed and should be running without any JavaScript coding required from you
