Technical support, product demonstrations, and training for specialised mobile surveying software

This is NOT your usual job! We are a small, modern, efficient, company with B2B customers. Key Point: This is a TECHNICAL and PART TIME that involves answering the PHONE via Skype, giving DEMONSTRATIONS, TRAINING and SUPPORT using Zoom as and when required. You MUST speak English fluently. Since the level of customer support is quite low and infrequent, the job may suit a flexible candidate who may also have another job, or indeed may be working on their own business projects, but have some spare time and need some top-up income. You may have to share the job with another suitable candidate to give cover during vacation periods. Typical hours when customers ask for support would be 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (UK Time), but we do have a few international customers, so being able to work outside these hours would be an advantage. QUESTION: If you are not from the UK how will you deal with the time difference? Emails can often come in out the standard hours, so being able to deal with them promptly would also be a bonus. Sometimes there are no support calls in a day, but you may need to work on a background task or preparation for training and demonstrations. We would offer a retainer fee and negotiate the exact hours you would prefer to work. Make sure you answer this question in your proposal: Do you play a musical instrument? However, there are opportunities for the right candidates to expand into other areas such as web-based content writing, social media promotion, graphics production, video production, and even developing bespoke systems with our software. If the candidate were the right fit for our company, there would be scope for increased remuneration and responsibility.
