Fill in a Spreadsheet with Data

Build a macro on a spreadsheet (specific format) to validate data on 20 columns that are being entered.
The file is later used in an upload process (not part of this project).
The user can copy/paste data into the excel sheet - once the button is pressed, each cell must be checked that it contains valid data, is of the correct data-type (not not, try and correct it) and if there are errors, each cell must be highlited to indicate to the user where errrors occured.
When the macro ends, a summary pop-up must appear with a count of errors.
When all errors are fixed and the macro runs, a save as dialog must be presented and the file be saved in either *.xlsx or *.xls format.
Some columns will need extra validation against a certain algorythm to check for correctness. The algorythm will be provided.
Also, one column (Passport Country of Issue) must be validated against valid country codes. The values are available.
