You can think of this as a multi-tier affiliate program in a sense. Now, many MLM companies let people sign up but will pass the sponsor id in the URL. If they don't pass it along in the URL then they will pass it along in the page when a post is done. You can typically find this by looking at the source code of the page and finding the "hidden" fields that get passed on a HTML POST. Quite often, you will need to signup for the sponsor's email list before you can get details on the program and/or see the sales page for the program. If the mlm program requires you to send in some type of paperwork after registering then this would not be one that would count in the 5 that we need.
