Responsibilities:
Interpreting and transcribing audio recordings from physicians and other health care professionals with regards to patient assessment, workup, procedures, clinical courses, diagnosis, prognosis, etc., in order to provide permanent records of patientcare.
Formats reports, recognize, interpret, and evaluate inconsistencies, discrepancies, and inaccuracies made
by physicians.
Verifies patient information for accuracy and completeness.
Candidates should:
Have excellent communication skills in English with good grammar and attention to detail.
Have excellent hearing and listening skills.
Be accurate and provide 99% error-free documents.
Be computer literate, familiarity with EMR charting system is a plus.
Possess good comprehension, problem solving and analytical skills.
Have reliable broadband connection and be willing to shifting schedules.
Qualifications:
Graduates of Medicine, Medical Sciences, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Physiotherapy or equivalent.
Preferably with 2 years working experience specializing in Healthcare – Nurse/Medical Support/Medical Assistant or equivalent.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD 9 and ICD 10 and CPT Codes preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.
