As for the price, I charge $0.8 per audio minute, so if this seems fair to you and if it fits your budget, then - great, I'm ready to start right away! Hello, I'm a professional transcriptionist. Through this site and others I've worked with several journalists, more notably Ozan Adan, when he was editor at BN Magazine. In that capacity I transcribed several interviews for him that were later the basis of articles in the magazine. My rate for transcription is $.95US per audio minute, not on a per hour basis. If awarded the project, you would be invoiced after each audio interview is complete. You will always know what the cost will be for your files to be transcribed, as soon as you complete your interview. Hi Mate, If you've had experience with transcription projects online before, you may already know that it's risky to commit to a bidder in the sense that "you never know what you're going to get" (like with chocolates via Forrest Grump). You're asking for high-accuracy, well, you should be quite discretionary and filter out those who may have good intentions in their bid, but cannot deliver the level of accuracy needed; and you wind up proofing and editing their work for many hours! My expertise is highly-accurate transcription work. I'm a 64-year-old American who has worked as chief transcription editor for three large American-based transcription companies to help transcribers raise their accuracy levels and improve their skills, while becoming aware of the habits that lower accuracy.
