We are bidding to replace an existing service provider for a client and we are presented with the opportunity to evaluate the existing service provider's work to identify deficiency, if any. The transactions per month is approximately, 60-deposits and 40 checks. We will be provided 1-2 months of bank statement along with the corresponding accounting report. And at a later time, the support documents such as receipts to support the monthly expense disbursements. The project is broken up will be separated into 3-phases. Depending on the findings of the first phase, it will dictate the scope of the subsequent phases, if necessary.
Phase 1: Reconcile Bank Statement to Accounting Report, update outstanding items list
Phase 2: Agree support receipts to each income & expense to Bank Statement, and compile variances
Phase 3: Analyze and investigate anomalies, if any.
Currently all phases will be conducted onsite (not remotely) so at the moment, only local freelancers are invited. The work may be conducted in our Ortigas or at BGC (NCR Philippines) location. Depending on availability, the work can be performed 1 to 2 days during M-F 9am - 5pm or 6-9pm (at another location). Weekend availability can also work, if a mutually agreeable time can be agreed upon.
We expect each month to take no more than 30-60 minutes to complete Phase 1 of the reconciliation. For the first visit, we can try out between 6-9 months of bank statements to reconcile. Depending of the quality of the work and if we are satisfied with the work, we will then release the remaining months to complete the reconciliation. Since phase 1 is fairly simple, we would like to offer the project for a fixed price of P1,000 for a straight 6-hour session. We will quote the subsequent phases separately, if necessary.
What we would require are:
1) a live interview, with a valid government picture ID as proof of identity
2) signature of our standard non-disclosure agreement and vendor agreement, before any materials are released or disclosed
3) for you to bring your own laptop and internet connection, wifi enabled.
If the project is a success, an ongoing engagement may be available to continue the reconciliation tasks, indefinitely. The subsequent work may be performed remotely or independently, should we find it appropriate. However, for the first session, we require a live on-site activity.
