I am looking for an expert in Microsoft Excel macros who can help me automate tasks.
I am attaching the sample excel file. Our actual file is over 10,000 row of data and contains few thousand product information. So your macro should work fast and should be able to handle large amount of data.
What WE NEED:-
When the macro is run the following should happen:-
a) Create a new output file called "Item data information"
b) In the output file column A to H should be the exact same information as in the current file
c) In the output file, column I should be TOTAL sum of all quantity in stock for that item (this is the total quantity with all variations shown in column N)
d) In the output file, column J should be Total sum of all quantity sold for that design in latest month (this is the data that is the LAST column of sample file. PLease note that LAST column of sample file will keep change as each month we will add another new column, so the macro should handle this)
e) In the output out file, column K should be Total sum of all quantity sold for that design in last 3 months( this is the data in the LAST 3 columns of sample file)
f) In the output out file, column L should be Total sum of all quantity sold for that design in last 6 months( this is the data in the LAST 6 columns of sample file)
f) We should be able to filter the file based on column I, J, K,L
Important:-
the only way you can find when the a ring style stops and another style starts is that there is a LINE drawn, or the ring style name changes. So the macro needs to make sure it properly counts the stock and sale for each style properly
