Ammo Compatibility Chart

Hello, I can automate it using VBA macros. How I picture it, there would be a separate row for each truck. It could have some information like the delivery date etc., but the most important is that the last columns would be for pallet 1, pallet 2, etc. Each pallet column would have a dropdown list in its cells from which ammo type can be selected. Based on a table of ammo pairs that can't be transported together, the macro would automatically highlight the cells where unallowed combination appears. Also, the macro could generate value in the Compatible column, to easily filter the data set by compatibility status. Another idea is a circle Excel shape on the top row, to show whether all items are compatible (green color) or not (red color). Best regards, Ryszard

It's easy to overthink this one. I can create an Excel spread sheet that when you select the first item on the truck, the next selections will only be what's allowed. Very possible!! No warnings, only the ability to choose what can go next. Of course, once you remove an item, other items will be allowed. Just need the list of incompatibles. I'm in America and speak American English, so communication isn't an issue.
