Forecasting cash flow for the management company of a fund

The work entail a cash forecast for a company that will be the management company for a fund that will build over time to a Fund managing $1 billion and making investments in a range around $50 million at a time. The model needs to be flexible so that the returns to the equity partiscipants can be seen over time as investments are made and divested Although the returns to the management company would basically be around the standard 2 and 20 percent model there needs to be flexibility to very these percentages and also to introduce a hurdle rate. Clealy the returns will involve assumptions about what happens in the fund that the company is managing and so this will have to be catered for as well. First two years need to be quarterly but after that annual numbers would suffice. The units may be in million to one decimal point. This work needs to be carried out and completed asap and within the next 12 hours so it requires and experienced person and preferably one that has carried out a very similar assigment already and has the basic of the model all ready to go. We do have work on this to date which should be useful to the successful applicant The detailed work which will be several work sheets showing relevant cash inflows and outflows with outflows being dominated by HR and wages and related expenses and Inflows flowing from the level of funds under management and the the upside from the sale of investments required a convenient summary. Also the assumptions need to be neatly presented to that they can be varied easily and presented easily so that it is easy to show under what assumptions the results have been achieved
