Imagine and describe 20 new visual effects.

Work type: Fixed price Required knowledge: Actionscript 3 & Flash CS4 Required software: none Payment method: Only via Paypal, and via this website Description -------------------------------------------- Imagine and describe a series of visual transitions between two MovieClips that would be original and creative. Once this project is completed, I will probably publish a new project in order to implement those ideas (or a selection of them), and in this case your bid will be preferred. Deliverables -------------------------------------------- One distinct description for each of the 20 following effects: 1. Two effects of low complexity. "low complexity" means here similar to the video excerpts given in attachment. For instance the visual effect would be based on basic image processing such as translation, blur, basic 3D shapes, split, fading away, scale change etc. 2. Two effects of medium complexity. "medium complexity" means here that the implementation of these effects will require 2 to 3 times more work than the the effects of low complexity. For instance the visual effect would be based on a rainy effect, a storm of random particles, a halo of light, or any other animation that corresponds to this work load. Creativity is welcome. 3. Sixteen effects of high complexity. "high complexity" means here that the implementation of these effects will require about 10 times more work than the effects of low complexity. For instance the visual effect would be based on a graphical study, a geometric computation, an optical illusion, an interaction with 3D objects, animated characters, trompe-l'oeil, movements within a 360° panorama, a animation similar to a screensaver, abstract compositions, a futuristic ambiance, an impression of newspaper pages, or any other animation that corresponds to this work load. Creativity is welcome. Technical Constraints -------------------------------------------- Each description will include at least the following four items: 1. A textual definition A text of a few lines (between 3 and 10), written in English, that defines the effect in such a way that no question is necessary in order to begin the development. 2. A short storyboard At least 3 images that describe the effect timeline. The quick drawing (pencil/pen/etc.) is accepted and encouraged. 3. A quick analysis A text of a few lines (between 3 and 20), written in English, that gives a hint on how to implement it (the main classes to use in the Actionscript 3 API, high-level pseudo-code, external tools to be utilized, etc.). 4. A price estimate The price that you will demand for the complete implementation of the effect, based on the same requirements than my previous projects (please read for instance the project that is entitled "Video effects with Actionscript 3 and Flash CS4"). Any additional documentation is welcome (e.g. graphical studies, third-party similar examples, analysis diagrams etc.) When all of these requirements are met the project will be considered completed and the payment will be released. Governing Law If a dispute relating to the task cannot be resolved through this website, the task execution shall be governed by Belgian law, and the dispute shall be brought before Courts of Brussels. 5. General legal terms If any court of law, having the jurisdiction to decide on this matter, rules that any provision of these terms is invalid, that provision will be removed from the terms without affecting the rest of the terms. The remaining provisions of the terms will continue to be valid and enforceable.
