I need an expert Actionscript programmer to provide some code that will mimmick the functionality of the Rectangular selection tool in Flash --- on mousedown, I want to be able to drag/scale a rectangle on the stage - on mouseup, the rectangle would remain in position and I need to know the x/y coordinates of the top-left corner and the bottom-right corner of the rectangle. I would like the option of locking the aspect ratio of the rectangle (which would be maintained during drag/scale) i.e. 1:1, 4:3, etc. ; otherwise, the rectangle selection would be scaled freely.
