I need some graphic design work for our software application. This application is called "Ministry Manager", and it is designed for Christian ministries to help manage their supporter information, contributions, pledges, etc.
The graphics I need are in two categories:
(1) Overall product packaging concept to be used on the CD labeling, user's guide, delivery box, and website. This should include a color scheme and miscellaneous designs to be placed on the packaging as accents. I really like the way Microsoft uses lines and boxes in their product graphic design (but, of course, I don't want to copy Microsoft - I just mention them as an example).
(2) Graphics for all of the toolbar icons (16x16). The application also uses an Outlook-style button bar on the side of the main program window, which will also require icons (16x16 & 32x32). I can provide the winner of this bid with a complete list of commands and their purpose, for which icons are to be created. My main concern is that all of the icons have a consistent look and feel, and must fit in well with the design described in item (1).
I must be able to preview some of your work prior to accepting your bid. I don't expect a complete design before accepting your bid, but I do expect to be able to clearly see the concept you've come up with, and where you propose taking the design. You can show me preliminary work by posting it here, or emailing it directly to me. I suggest stamping the graphics with the word "Proposal" or "Preliminary" to ensure the graphics are unusable until the transaction is completed. But I _must_ be able to see your work before I will accept your bid.
1) All graphics in category (1) must be in GIF or JPG format, suitable for use on an Internet website, as well as four-color printing of packaging and CD labeling. All graphics in category (2) must be in BMP format. 2) Complete ownership of the design concept, including all copyrights and rights of distribution and use must be transferred to us upon completion of the project.
