Finish a logo that has already been started

I hired a designer on here, but he has stopped responding to my emails, so I need to get the project finished by someone else. I am attaching what he had done before he stopped responding. I need someone to basically recreate these logos, so that we can make the final changes I wanted to them.
On the first file, I wanted to go with the first design (black background, blue lettering), but I wanted to make it pop a little more - perhaps a deeper blue/turquoise, perhaps black outline around the bikini and lettering to make it stand out more.
The second file is a version he was working on for my exterior sign on the facade of the store - the sign needs to be 18" X 96", so long and skinny. This is the version he had come up with, but I wanted something more legible - this looks pretty, but is hard to read. Again, I like the overall style he created, and I want that recreated, and then I just need everything to be more clear and legible.
