We need a logo design.
We have a vector image that we purchased from an online stock photo website. We want four things created from this vector image:
1) A Logo that captures the spirit of this photo without actually using the image. You can view a preview of the image at: [login to view URL] The logo will incorporate the name of the business (shared with the winning bidder). Ideally, the logo would capture (or at least not run opposed to) the emotion of the following ideals: Family, Community, Helping Each Other, Local Food, Nutrition, Gardening, Farming. The logo must work in both color and B&W. The logo is the first thing to be completed, and must be approved before the final three things are completed.
2) A full front-cover and back-cover for a self-published book. This image will directly use the vector image linked above (that we already purchased), and the logo created in #1. I will provide additional graphical images to be included in the finished product. You are not responsible for any text writing, just the graphics and the layout. I’d prefer someone who has done book cover layouts before and knows all the elements needed for retail distribution.
3) A modified version of the vector image that we already purchased with only a change of the overall color, from oranges to greens.
4) A modified version of the vector image that we already purchased with only a change of the overall color, from oranges to blues.
We need multiple samples of your work. If you do not have logo samples of your personal work, then we ask that you submit at least two very rough sketches of your vision four our logo with your bid.
We want the logo design process be approached with the designer providing us five (or more) rough sketch ideas that we can review and choose one for further development. If we cannot find a rough sketch that meets our needs, we will cancel the project and pay the freelancer 10% of the total bid for their time in providing rough sketches.
We need final approval of all designs.
We need all final work provided to us in either Photoshop or Indesign format so we can make future modifications as needed; including adding text and using the images in other marketing efforts. All work must be provided in high resolution suitable for print.
We will allow 10 days from the time we choose a freelancer to complete this project, though we would prefer the project be completed in 5 days. Original logo drafts must be provided within 2 days. We expect draft copies to flow between the designer and us regularly. We commit to returning communications from the chosen freelancer in a timely manner. ALL RIGHT OF THIS DESIGN WILL BE TRANSFER TO US. Do not copy the logo, do use a not logo generator on the web. This must be original and unique work. Payment via Paypal upon completion of project.
