Convert a Template to a Website

when a link (top right is clicked
I need the link to highlight in some way (creative)
and have text only scroll on from the right hand side.
I have purchased a web template, that may contain the CSS (?) code for this - scroll on effect to take place -
I will need to be able to edit the text myself - in the future
