A gaming community logo/symbol

Hello! I'm looking to design a logo for my gaming community. The community is named "The Void" and it doesn't stick to a single game, so unfortunately I cannot use a particular game theme as direction. The vague idea for direction that I do have can be summed up by a merger of 2 unrelated images: This first link takes you to an image of the logo which is used in the widely popular game Assasin's Creed: [login to view URL] It's supposed to be a hooded assassin of their elite order. I particularly like the sharp angle design. The second image is just of 3 dark hooded figures I randomly pulled off Google Image search. [login to view URL] You can obviously see that I want some sort of an "Dark hooded assassin" type vibe here, but I want there to be 3 discernible figures, but I want the letter "V" to be incorporated in some fashion, if at all possible. Maybe some sort of a noticeable V-neck for their robes? For a color scheme, I'd like to stick to 3 primary colors: Red, Purple, and obviously Black. The choice to include text or not can be left up to the designer, but if you decide to include text in some way, I would like it to either spell the phrase "The Void Beckons", or perhaps simply to include the word "Void" Thank you!
