Website - Rap Is a Sport: [login to view URL]
Overview: Rap is a sport website will be primarily driven by RSS aggregation. We will want to combine multiple RSS feeds to provide our users with the ultimate hip-hop news website experience. In addition, we would like to have an admin interface where we can control the content posted on the website. This website will be user friendly across all browsers and smart devices.

Home | The League | Music Arena | Schedule | Artist To Watch | Social Circle |
Home Page:
At the top of the Home page, text will display “Featured” and beneath the text, there will be a slideshow with picture/articles based on the RSS feeds that we desire. I would like the slideshow to display a total of 8 featured articles.
Articles from the RSS aggregation will round out the rest of the home page. We would like the articles to be displayed in a grid layout (4 per row and infinite scroll for the columns) with fixed height and width. This page will automatically update based on the feeds. (We will be able to add and remove RSS feeds from the administrator page. In addition, posts that are 3 days old need to be automatically removed. The administrator will have the ability to remove posts as well.)
The League Page:
The League page is where we will display and rank top hip-hop artist that are in the industry. We would like to display a picture of the artist and add text about each artist in a column-listed display. In addition, upon on click of the artist’s picture, the user will be directed to the artist’s Wikipedia page or their website. (This is something we would like to administer from the administrators interface.
In addition, on that page, we would like to display “Related Articles” links that will be driven from RSS feeds from the home page.
Music Arena Page:
The Music Arena page is where we will display music for our end user. We will want to be able to add music to our site from youtube, soundcloud, etc… Ideally, we would like the layout to be similar to: [login to view URL]
Schedule Page:
The Schedule page is where we would like to display “Rap and Hip-Hop” concerts from [login to view URL] based on the users’ location.
Artist To Watch Page:
This will be a free form page where the administrators can add the hip-hop artists that are upcoming or making moves in the industry. This page will be displayed in a list layout where we can add text, music, and videos (youtube or vimeo) for these artists.
We will also like to have a link where an artist can send us their music so we can display it on the website. Once the artist clicks the link, they will be able to email us their information so we can add them to the page.
Social Circle Page:
The Social Circle page is where we would like to display artists’ post from their instagram page. We would like the layout to be in grid format with 4 posts per row (Fixed height and width) with an infinite scroll for the columns. (This information should automatically update based on the artists’ updates to their instagram page. We will be able to add and artist’s so feeds (instagram name) from the administrator page. In addition, posts that are 3 days old need to be automatically removed)
