About Plains Punishers :
The Plains Punishers are a Native American jr roller derby league for native youth ages 7-17. They skate with quad roller skates, helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, and mouth guards. It is a full contact sport played on a flat oval track. The "jammers" score points for the team. They are distinct from other players by wearing a star on their helmet cover.
Project Description:
We are looking for a sport team logo. We were thinking of a native skull (maybe with braids) design with a roller derby helmet on, and possibly a feather sticking up behind the helmet. Maybe a thick line or "mask" across the eyes. Like it was painted on, like war paint. Along with the team name, and "Jr Roller Derby". Maybe roundish, or some sort of background like a star or something, if it's not too busy looking.
We also would like a simpler logo with the name, and home name (Billings, MT) and perhaps a feather or arrow with it.
Googling roller derby logos gives a good idea of what the basic design is.
