E-commerce website refresh and ongoing projects for Dutch fashion brand (long term)

For a high end, sustainability oriented Dutch fashion brand we are looking for a senior full-stack web developer that can help develop the upcoming refresh of our e-commerce website as well as several additional projects, including adding new features to our CRM, integrating with third party systems and building a customer portal to view past orders and manage product returns. We are looking for someone that is interested in building a long term relationship with us, as there will be plenty of work and ongoing maintenance to do on our variety of applications and systems, including the online store and front-facing website, our content management system, the API, various integrations and our point of sale system. You will have to demonstrate a high level of understanding and experience in working on projects of similar complexity, as well as deep knowledge of related frameworks and programming languages. Excellent knowledge of the following is a must: - Modern HTML/CSS (SASS) - Modern Javascript standards and best practices - AngularJS and/or VueJS front-end frameworks - NodeJS backend framework - MongoDB or other NoSQL database architecture Knowledge of the following would be a plus: - Express - Mongoose - Netlify & Heroku hosting platforms Thoroughness and thoughtfulness are preferred over speed of development. Good critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential. We are looking for someone with a good eye for detail, who enjoys making the final product look good as much as they like to make it work well. You will be working together with our software architect and design team, but you are also expected to be able to work independently and problem solve as needed. We would prefer to engage with a developer based in The Netherlands and with knowledge of the Dutch language, as the website requires you to work with and around text written in Dutch.
