I am looking for Children's Book Illustrations about Penguins who form a rock group.
And what happens to them.
The style of illustration I admire and am looking for, are, in order, first the late Simms Taback, who was a personal friend and a brilliant illustrator. (Check out his Farm Animals book, and other works.)
I also like the work of Bob Barner and Todd Parr.
Vivid, clear, simple and eyecatching. James Laycock's Police Penguin Slacker, also has appeal.
There has to be humor ....much humor in the illustrations. And each of the rock group penguins needs to have a personality of his/her own.
I realize a lot of work is involved, so I am prepared to go higher once I find the illustrator I want.
