Hello,
I am looking for someone who is familiar with Test Automation to help find me small side projects to work on. As we all know, it can be a bit tedious to sift through the different listings on here and write a Pullitzer Prize winning essay to prove you are worth more than the insanely competitive rates proposed by junior developers, especially in areas of income disparity.
I am extremely experienced and work as a Senior Automation Developer in Test, but really enjoy automating things, especially other company's programs that I have not seen before or interesting tasks.
I also enjoy teaching automation to new developers or old ones alike. I am able to show best practices, completely explain the page object pattern & wintrees, and knowledge that I have picked up along the way.
I will SPLIT my hourly rate of the job you bring me (I usually charge 30/hr on most proposals).
That's it. You bring me the job and you will get paid for half of it. I do the work.
Please read my profile for my extensive Test Automation expertise, but to name a few:
Frameworks
-Selenium
-CodedUI
-Splinter
Drivers
-PhantomJS*
-Capybara
-Marionnette (new mozilla driver)
-WebDriver
-VS Automation
Tests
-Data Driven
-Dynamic
-Smoke
-Unit
-E2E Regression
-Fuzz
Please bring me something challenging and innovative!
I guarantee
-COMPLETE documentation
-Detailed reporting
-Concise, optimized code
-Batch files for automated running/VM
-Detailed commenting
Please answer the two questions below in your bid.
--Are you comfortable explaining the benefits of Test Automation to companies looking to hire Manual Testers instead?
--Are you willing to go above and beyond just posting proposals on UpWork? Which other methods do you think would be successful?
And as a final note, I am always willing to teach a hard, bright learner that helps me =)
Sincerely,
Alex Moll
