Xml wrapper for simple xml file reading, modifying and writing

Would you be interested to implement a straightforward xml wrapper Java class with Netbeans 6 / J2EE1.4? You will have an advantage over the other bidders, if you demonstrate your knowledge on the field by briefly describing what technologies and why you plan to use to implement the wrapper class. You may also tell what kind of prior experience you have in doing xml manipulation. And if you have any suggestions to improve the project, don't be afraid to share them. :) The code must be well documented, because it is also used as a learning material. Thank you for bidding. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) As the code is used as a learning material, I reserve the right to scrutiny your code and ask for partial or complete rewrites. If I'm not satisfied with the way you have implemented something (even if the code works), you must implement it differently. 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
