I have a requirement for an extension the APE Comet style serve which will enable it to directly read and set items on remote memcache server. The source code already includes an example of one such addon for MySQL and some information which may be of help may be found at: [url removed, login to view] While this information may be very useful for this project I couldn't how to may use of it rapidly enough for my timescales. if you can help with this please get in touch.
