Staff Digital Signout Board, Truck Calendar & Admin Interface

I’m looking for 1 or 2 people to help develop a web front end for an existing SQL database. Would like to develop in ruby on rails and angular.js on a linux server and we'll connect to a remote MS SQL database. Need someone who is very experienced with ROR and Angular. My time zone is PST (GMT -8) and looking for someone who can work at least some of the hours in our time zone. We can also communicate over gmail chat if that works for you. The system will be used to sign staff in and out of the office, help with scheduling of trucks in a calendar type of interface and be capable of generating a report of days trucks were used. Also on the sign out interface is a date and time of return. If the worker is signed out and the expected return time passes, they are overdue. When this happens and they are 10 minutes overdue there should be an email and a text message that goes out to the person overdue. Then 10 minutes after this the email and text will go to a few people. At any time if the person signs back in the alerting process will stop. We have a current system called EIOboard ([login to view URL]) that’s works but want to build another web front end to add features since the current front end is closed source but we do have full access to the back end database. The interface will have 3 main views: 1) Sign in/out interface (see attached mockup) 2) Truck Scheduling interface (see attached mockup) 3) Admin interface • This will only have some basic features • Allowing batch edit the user data on the sign-out board • Capable of expansion for future features. • Reporting on truck usage during time period with export options to pdf and csv There is a 2nd SQL database that the interface system will pull data from to populate some drop down menus. We won’t be adding or updating data in this 2nd database. I can also provide the database schema for both databases. Features • Responsive Design • Pull Data from database and populate drop down menus on signout interface • Add file attachments and associate with phase or sub phase (see Location column of mockup) • Printing Attachments • Email Attachments • Copy Record from Previous day • User Authentication • Sorting of Columns in Signout View • Generate report of trucks signed-out during time period • Date Picker • Validation on Data Entry • Email snapshot of the signout board data every time there is a change so there is a record of where people are if the server goes down. • Al the staff, trucks and location drop down will be pulled from a database but there needs to be a way to add data manually via the interface is something is missing. • Autocomplete in data entry boxes and drop downs. The system will be viewed on the following devices: • Large Screen 42’ TV • iPhones • iPad Mini’s • 15-17” Laptops • 24” Monitors I'm pretty flexible on hours per week to work but there is a lot of work to be done.
