modify a web page that uses Twitter's Bootstrap, and a Leaflet map window to position the content panes correctly.

I have a one page site that uses Bootstrap for a two panel layout, and has a navbar at the top. The map window is resizing to the full browser window size, and I'd like to modify that so that it stays in the desgnated DIV container. I'd also like the user to be able to adjust the separation between the map window on the left and the chart window on the right using a draggable handle.
