Seeking Ruby on Rails Developer

Prototype website in the credit management and education sphere.

Project written in Rails 3.1 using Cucumber, Rspec, HAML, CoffeeScript, SCSS. Building niche community driven site. First stage short-term. Possible long-term involvement. Applicant must speak English and show examples of the above scripting languages. Android/iOS mobile development experience a plus.

Job Description:

Your responsibilities:

- Work closely with project manager to create and implement site features.

- Document features added.

- Produce a solid, detailed technical design

- Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision

- Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use

- Publishing to Heroku, and/or Amazon Web Services as decided necessary.

Your qualifications:

- Programming languages: Ruby on Rails, CoffeeScript, Cucumber, HAML, SCSS

- A work style that is extremely detail oriented

- Strong communication skills

- References or an established reputation on Elance preferred

- Example use of required languages. (Github account?)

I have a more specific features list prepared for the right candidate.

Also, I expect the developer to be able to explain the new implemented features why/how done using the above technologies to me, a novice RoR programmer.
