:: OVERVIEW ::
We need help fixing a scrolling menu system based off of the ScrollSidebar on David Walsh’s blog [login to view URL] the JavaScript library that this needs to work with is MooTools v1.2.4 and will be included in our zip file.
:: BUGS ::
The menu should not move until you scroll down the page and the menu hit the browser window, then the menu should start scrolling down the page, but stop once it hits the bottom of the table column it is in.
The problem is the menu does not stay within the table column it’s in, i.e. it run over the footer, we would like the menu to stay within the table column.
:: SCREENSHOTS ::
Screen 1 – This is how the page loads, it looks fine.
Screen 2 – This shows how the menu starts scrolling down the page as soon as you start scrolling down even though it does not need to yet. So you end up with a large space at the top of the page, this is not how we want it to work.
Screen 3 – This shows how the menu is currently going over the footer, again this is not how we want it to work.
Screen 4 – This shows how we do want the menu to stay at the top of the page and not move until it needs to.
Screen 5 – Again showing how the menu stays at the top of the page as you scroll down.
Screen 6 – This is showing how the menu will push the footer down if the page is shorter than the menu.
:: NOTES ::
Don’t forget this needs to work with MooTools v1.2.4
