Irrlicht SDL -- 2

Was wondering if someone could get one of the examples working where Irrlicht can be rendered inside SDL. [login to view URL] I just put a bunch in here thinking one of them used to work, cant remember which maybe only the joystick demo works but I am looking for the rendering version. should work on linux, also use 1.8.4 the SVN version had issues last checked with QT possibly others.
