Hello, My web server(s) are being flooded with http request for over 3 weeks now. it looks like this [login to view URL] - - [11/Nov/2015:19:09:39 +0700] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 11252 "[login to view URL]" "Mozilla/5.0 (...) Chrome/46.0.2490.80 Safari/537.36" [login to view URL] - - [11/Nov/2015:19:09:39 +0700] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 11254 "[login to view URL]" "Mozilla/5.0 (...) Chrome/46.0.2490.80 Safari/537.36" [login to view URL] - - [11/Nov/2015:19:09:40 +0700] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 11371 "[login to view URL]" "Mozilla/5.0 (...) Chrome/46.0.2490.80 Safari/537.36" [login to view URL] - - [11/Nov/2015:19:09:40 +0700] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 11251 "[login to view URL]" "Mozilla/5.0 (...) Chrome/46.0.2490.80 Safari/537.36" I am looking for someone that is able to filter these bots deploying thousands of IPs. The target is the domain name, not the server ip. Arbor Ddos protection doesn't filter this. Cloudflare pro account doesn't filter this either. I have had a freelancer on this. he GAVE UP! Only apply if you are sure you know how to fix this .

Can you tell me what king of hosting you use? shared hosting, vps/vds/dedicated? how much legal traffic you have daily? how many bot requests per second? also i can offer you antiddos solution but its about 200$ per month. I can filter this out for you what web server software are you using? do you have mod_security installed? if I have to install that as well the total. ost will go to 100 total. this happens most likely because of that domain using your server ip before you and still have dns record poi to g to your server this is most likely not malicious but does consume your server resources and bandwidth which we can minimize

I can certainly take care of this for you, however, it will take some time logging apache or whatever your server is. And it will certainly take quite a few hours, so unfortunately there is NO way to get this done on a budget for $10-$30. I am working on a startup specializing in web security so I would be very glad to help out if you can supply a budget closer to $150.

Not sure if you used fail2ban in combinations with iptables it will help to provide effective way to block the dos attacks, also simple IP table tuning will also help to block various unwanted users, their are various ways to do this, this is the one but may be effective one.
