Project Title: SINGLE INPUT MULTI OUTPUT DC-DC LINEARIZED CONVERTER MODEL USING DYLAMO MODELICA AND COMPARE IT WITH MATLAB SOFTWARE.

Scope:

1. To develop MATLAB simulation of Single Input Multi Output(SIMO) non-isolated bidirectional DC-DC converter (3outputs & buck mode). (see R2 & R3)

a. Draw simulation diagram for the proposed SIMO converter in CCM mode.

b. Pulse waveform, Output current & voltage waveform are to be shown.

2. Modeling and linearization of proposed converter model in CCM mode. (see R1)

Steps:

a. A state-space averaging (SSA) model is developed for the proposed multiple-output converter.

b. Averaging and correcting.

c. Full-order averaged models.

d. Comparison of the Large Signal Model to Circuit Simulation Results.

e. Linearization.

f. Comparison of the Small-Signal Model to Circuit Simulation Results.

3. Use the object-oriented modeling language MODELICA to implement the SIMO DC-DC converter in the DYMOLA modeling environment. (see R1)

Steps:

a. Develop Switched Model in Modelica (SWM).

b. Develop a continuous-time Linearized Model in Modelica (LZM) using SWM.

c. The LZM and SWM simulation results are compared and validated using LTSpice under the same boundary conditions, both during transient conditions and input voltage disturbances.

d. The models are implemented using the Modelica within the Dymola environment, using MSL and VI library.

e. The Dymola and LTSpice simulation results are subjected to statistical analysis to evaluate the extent of similarity between both models.

4. After the design and the simulation were complete, a hardware prototype is built and tested in order to verify the analysis. (see R2 & R3)
