Upgrade MS Access ADP to ACCDB

Hello! Before you consider my offer I am interested is it possible for me to have your DB for review first? I am interested about your concerns about conversions (why not simple import does not work), then, does it contain call to 32-bit API libraries that does not work on 64-bit system, then have you used macro or VBA... To turn DB into Web app you are gonna need some kind of SQL database with Web front end - that means you need to have it completely rewritten while keeping tables in same format only. ID : 7301207 Greetings, We are interested to work on this project, please find my comments inline with yours, 1. I have a fairly large database that was developed last millenium. It works fine but it needs to be upgraded .. =>We assume currently ADP database is in 2003 format. Let me know in which version you want to upgrade? 2007/2010/2013 to for accdb. What version of SQL server? 2005/2008/2008R2/2012 How many users will use this database? 2. There are maybe a dozen stored procedures that will need to be converted. It has about 50 forms and 50 tables and 50 reports, .. =>Ok, Forms are bound or unbound? let me know which forms, reports are not needed or which are required? Do you want to connect to SQL server using DSN or DSNless (through ODBC), we will provide relink form to link SQL server tables. At present we have finished one product converting from .adp to Access2007 (accdb), its Library Management System product by our company. 3. I can provide more information => Ok, please provide existing database and more details. 4. As an aside... web app. =>We can use ASP.net to create web application or we can use Access 2013 to create web database and can access online using office 365 or sharepoint. 5. I am expecting this to take somebody who knows.. =>Ok, please provide the existing database and more details, so we can analyze and estimate for it. But this is failry easy job, we may need to analyze few forms for multi-user scenario if needed and may change little code.

This version can import the database objects from your ADP file. Once this is done you can convert it to version 2013. If you are using 64 bit version of Access you might need to re-write some of the modules. I would like to see the ADP file - I would give you an exact time quote once I know the exact requirement. Hi! there, My name is Dipak Moliya. I’ve read your project description and can see that you’d like to upgrade MS Access ADP to ACCDB so it can work with Window 8 and Office 2013. I am able to convert a dozen stored procedures. I can make the ACCDB so it can be use in Multi-user environment (Many user can work simultaneously from different computer) with log-in dialog, search, filter and save the filter features using Microsoft Access with Access Reports. I offer you access application with very user friendly forms having functionalities like auto filling easy data selection through dropdowns, Search data, Filter some data then save the filter with a name so you don't need to filter for future use. The user interface structure of the application will be such that there will be a single Home form and all the other forms can be loaded on this main Home form through button clicks to access their functionality. I have 6 year's experience designing and developing Microsoft Access Application with advance knowledge of SQL and VBA. Hi, I have gone through details of your project and would like to take an opportunity to work on it. I have worked on several MS Access projects of various requirements and versions and can help you with conversion of ADP to ACCDB latest file. As for information, in ADP data stores in MS-SQL database and thus those details will also be required. Referring those details similar data structure can be created in ACCDB format and frontend will include forms and details you like. Since you mentioned that some forms/reports are not in use now, those can be removed from result. Likewise, we can create list of such changes to be done.
