We're doing a mobile map-based application that will enable users to find street food vendors in their areas. This is how we'd like it to work:
- User opens the app
- App gives them a form to log in (either through Facebook/Twitter or with a user name that they can register with us)
- After logging in, users will be able to search by category of food or food nearest in location
- The app will be designed to retrieve vendor information from a vendor location database and lists the vendors nearby, listing those that are not open in a dimmed or disabled appearance. The vendor database will also include vendor opening times and closing times, to make this possible.
- After user selects the vendor they want, app gives directions to the the vendor location
- App needs to have advertising support, as we are planning to monetise it
- Administrators must be able to add new vendors to the database, and should include an option for a user to add the location that they are at for consideration for admins to add into the vendor database
- App should also be able to connect to Facebook and Twitter to allow users to share the location that they are at
- If possible, coupon support should be included to allow users to receive codes from us for deals at certain vendors
