small iOS application [repost]

I had a developer working on iOS application pretty small and basic, but he failed to finished it, so I have all of this source and selected user can continue from where he left. Here is what application should do: 1. Map Screen a. Call php page with user's current coordinates and radius (fixed to 10), this will return json list of locations, simply show them on map. Now when user tap on any of these points, display a dialog on which you will have to display the address of location and a text & button to share the message on facebook **Comments: Most of the work on this screen is done but its buggy and crashed alot ** 2. Background service: When application is not in foreground, it should run background service (should be efficient so that it wont drain the battery too quickly). In background service call another php service supplying the current coordinates of user and unique device ID (a simple UUID will work), if any nearby location is found, service will reply nearby location in json format (format similar to previous one), display the fixed message as notification and when tapped on this notification open the map screen described above. **Comments: This was working when developer sent first build but it stopped working in later builds** 3. Scheduled screen: A screen from where use can set background service schedule say run all the time or run between 5pm to 6pm 4. A slider menu screen to pause, resume background service I will provide you all the current source and graphics but please the deadline of this project is very TIGHT, i need it be finished by coming Monday 4th June 2012.
