Development of a service that regularly polls a URL (failures of this polling are retried several times immediately but then wait till the next scheduled attempt). The information in the response from the URL contains details about SMS messages to be sent from the mobile device. The service then sends the requests SMS messages. Each sent message contains a unique identifier. SMS status eg sending, failures and delivery confirmations are tracked, logged locally and also lodged by GETting a URL. Responses to the original sent message must be matched to the original sent unique identifier. The SMS response must be logged and also lodged by GETting a URL. Failures of any URL GETs result in several immediate retries and then regular retries at the service polling time until successful or the expiry timeframe is met. This project can be seen as a basic replacement for a web-based SMS provider service. More specifications included in attached document. I reverse the right not to proceed with the project.
