Mobile and blockchain technology and smart tagging is required for a data collection and tracking system. The Blockchain should be built using Hyperledger Fabric
The goal is to aid robust proof of compliance to standards at origin and demonstrate that products conform to particular standards
The blockchain will make data interoperable along the chain, and between very different actors (different parties in the supply chain) and systems. What is required is an application that can work through a simple smartphone interface - either through application itself or by linking the application with existing interfaces and systems for data capture along the supply chain.
The data will be stored in an immutable, decentralized format, allowing for secure data verification. The data will also include the standard verification certificates issued by a third party organization. A QR Reader app on a mobile phone will be used to scan the code on the side of the product to access the stored attributes certification on the blockchain.

This is the first phase of a particular Programme. The successful bidder will also be invited to work on the next 2 phases of the programme if the first stage as represented by this project is sucessfully delivered To see what we are trying to achieve across the three phases of the programme.
The successful bidder will also need to provide documentation on how the application works and provide a screencast video that shows what is happening on a computer screen as they use the application. This will also need to be backed up with 2 one hour sessions of online training
