We are developing mobile app using meteor as backend AND angular with ionic framework as front end.
We need to add function for password protected for the app that:
1. user will set password (maybe saved to local storage)
2. If password is set, then the user to enter the password everytime open the app.

Hey have u know about passport authentication ? Did you try that? I didnt do much work on metero but i think through passport we can easily acheieve our goal
Password protecting the app can be implemented very easily. I would not recommend you to save the password to SQLite or Localstorage. Have you implemented authorisation or authentication in your meteor database ?
