OCR Doc Scanner for Smart Phones and Tablets

Greetings from Jamaica, We are a small church looking to create an exciting new experience for our members. We would like to give each member the opportunity to be able to use their smart phone and tablet to scan passages from the bible, from printed pages or hand written. This was suggested by one of our congregation as a way to let members share their favorite passages. There are many paid applications, but we want to create one for our church and offer it for free. Please follow the detailed description below to understand how the application will work. Using either a Apple smart device, such as iPhone or iPad, or an Android smart device such as Smart Phone or Smart Tablet, the user takes a photo of the paper. The application then adjusts the photo to look very nice. Then the user is able to save the document. There are some important factors. Some members will scan one image and share it. Other members will scan multiple images into one document and send it. We need such versatile functionality. There does not need be much more complexity than that.
