Modify an existing cocoa autocomplete text field code

I have implemented an autocomplete from an array of names from AddressBook on a textField successfully but alas, I've found two issues: 1.) Anytime the user enters a space the autocomplete is selected. The space should not select the suggestion but be honored as a character. This is necessary as sometimes the user has to enter multiple words to find the correct autocomplete suggestion. 2.) After the user has entered some text and found the correct autocomplete suggestion they should be able to press enter and have an IBAction fire. As it is now, they have to press enter once to select the autocomplete suggestion and then press enter again to fire the IBAction. Basically, I need the autocomplete that I've created to act like the address bar in a browser... The whole project is attached. The autocomplete text field is found in the main window "New Proposal" and is the "clientNameTextField" The autocomplete is found in "autocompleteController.h" and "autocompleteController.m" obviously...
