I have a nuke intranet at work.
We have around 75 users, I would like to have developed a script, CGI or PERL, that the user will call from a link on the intranet site. This script will then challenge them based on the smbuser names and passwords on the localhost. Once they have authenticated it will then ask them a few questions needed for their sendmail auto-responder. Such as;
Your email address. (written into the ~/.procmailrc file)
Your away message. (written into a text file called ~/[url removed, login to view])
The scheduled time the auto-response to go into effect.
The scheduled time the auto-response is to be disabled.
