Wanted: Storyboard Artist for Whiteboard Videos

We are a small whiteboard studio currently looking for an artist/s to storyboard our whiteboard videos. (Warning: only the most awesome need apply.) To give you an idea of our work, here’s a typical project. Script: [login to view URL] Storyboard: (You would do this part) [login to view URL] Video: [login to view URL] We make all the storyboard images in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet, number the order they’ll be drawn and then drop the images into a power point slide deck so the client can get a feel for the order the images will be shown. If you feel you can transform that script into a storyboard of the same quality, then continue reading. If not, you can stop here and I wish you the best. If you want to work with us, you must be: 1. Awesome 2. Able to create a storyboard with a coherent relationship between images (we create scenes, not just random images that don’t fit together) 3. Able to visually depict the main points of the script with relevant images/analogies 4. Able to properly walk the line between serious and funny with your art 5. Able to give accurate estimates on how long a project will take 6. A skilled artist 7. Able to stick to deadlines 8. Awesome If you 1. Can’t make deadlines 2. Overestimate your abilities to deliver on time 3. Are not Awesome this probably isn’t for you. A typical 3-10 minute script for storyboarding usually pays around between $250-$750. This includes 2 rounds of revisions. Our artist Mike (who’s Awesome BTW) usually knocks that out in around 6-12 hours (he’s been doing this for a while). For a trial, find a script attached in the style of the examples set. All you have to do for this project is turn frames 5-7 (3 frames in total) of the attached script into a storyboard and we’ll go on from there.
