Looking for a fully featured search engine to be built, crawler and the website itself. Similar to [url removed, login to view] using sphinx.
However, the difference to filestube is that the crawler will index the page content, as a "TEXT" field (with all the rubbish removed) to allow for full text searching rather than direct file downloads.
* Crawler to use curl
* Website with similar feature set to filestube, search type, filehost
* Index page content rather than download links only
* Use Sphinx Search
* Crawler must be able to be ran from command line / multiple instances
Being able to search sort by:
file host
site
size
... etc.
Crawler must be able to crawl webpages and get the following information and put it into the database:
page title
website id
page url
last crawled
page content
page file hosts found
site type (tube site, forum etc, these can be done manually by editing the site ID in another table)
Basically all content to allow for powerful searching, especially a page content field that allows us to full text search using sphinx!

Basically we want the guts of it done. We can probably polish it off.
We want it all in PHP and MySQL using Sphinx search for results. We basically want a filestube.com clone but rather than index filenames only, we want page content of the page crawled for full text searching. We also want an administration panel where we can manage site profiles, delete pages, edit entries, set up sites to crawl etc.
