Need to optimize existing SQL Server 2005 database. Need to show that you know how and why to add indexes, how to use SQL Profiler, Tuning Wizard, how to optimize SP.
The database has about 50 tables, but many of them are look up tables (about 15). Most crucial is the search functionality. We need searching of resumes/jobseekers and also searching of jobpostings.
1. create sample data ( we might be able to help with that)
2. make use of Tuning Wizard and SQL Profiler.. show us how and why.
3. add/tune indexes, tune existing SPs and add more as appropriate to optimize based on search criteria.
