I need a way of batch calling a specific set of numbers at a specific time for a specific length of time using a parameter file.

I need a way of batch calling a specific set of numbers at a specific time for a specific length of time using a parameter file.

i.e.

Time______Tel Num______Ring Dur___Call Dur

Using VB, C or Java (preferably VB), a pc would be set up with a couple of modems (possibly ten modems), to take in the parameter text file (as shown above) and place calls using the parameter file. The pc would call the Tel Number at the specific time, if the call was not answered within the Ring Duration (in seconds) then it would cease the call, if the call was answered then the call must be terminated after the Call Duration (in seconds). The program must be able to handle multiple modems and multiple calls at the same time. The program must also write a log file for each call stating the time, tel num, ring duration and call duration.

After consideration, I may need 2 programs to do the job I require, unless both programs can be done in one, i.e. another parameter stating whether the call is a telephone call or data call?

1. The first program is needed is to test my telecom switches. I need to batch dial a lot of numbers and check that the stats coming out of the switches is correct. The modem needs to act like a telephone and call a specific number which will be answered by either an interactive voice response machine or another telephone. No data will be transfered either way.

2. The second program is needed to dial a specific number using a data connection and download/upload for aslong as the parameter file states. The data uploaded and downloaded does not matter. The data call would be answered by another data modem at the other end. Again this is to test my switches, but to also test my servers.
