The Retail Product Information system (hereafter ‘RPI’) is currently in use at sites across Australia. We are looking at a total redevelopment of the current product.
Retailers use RPI as a selling tool, to assist them in the closure of a sale. When a customer walks into a retail store looking for a particular item, or an item that performs a certain task they require, a salesperson can use RPI to search for a product for the consumer that meets their requirements. The sales person can print out a single page brochure on the item to give to the customers (if required) with their own store name and details listed on it. Retailers can also use RPI to print out Pricing and Merchandising Tickets (plus other things)? on product based on information included int he RPI database.
RPI is available to our retail or supplier customers by monthly subscription. This can be either by monthly CD or Secure Website. The CD is installed on Windows based PC's and the? application? can be networked.
