We want start a project where users can register with username & passwort on a Webserver.
The activation should be done by an administrator.
The Client:
The users have a piece of hardware with an integrated gps receiver.
This device is based on windows embedded standard 7 (WES7). We send the GPS data to a COM-Port, the protocol is NMEA. The GPS data should be send the webserver. If no internet connection is available the data should be buffered until internet is available again. The connection must be safe / encrypted.
The Webserver:
We want use a Windows based webserver with MySQL or with MsSQL. The visualisation of the GPS Data from the client should be in a "driversbook"-form. It should be work like this:

The visualistation should be done in google maps.
It should be possible on the client side to activate a public mode. In public mode it should be possible to see the position of the device in realtime on a public accessable part on the webside. If public mode is not activ, the routes are only viewable if the customer is logged in.
The sourcecode should be delivered in a .Net language of your choice.
That is the first "app" for our device, a lot of other features should be come in future.
